BEAUTIFUL! La Jolla is usually sunny and breezy, mid 70's during the day and chillier at night so bring a jacket. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside, the reception will mainly be inside.
We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up with us for our big day! Please dress semi-formal, preferably no denim and avoid shades of white and gold. It is preferred that men wear a button down shirt with pants or suit and women wear a dress of any length. Additionally, the ceremony and cocktail will be outside in the grass, so keep that in mind when selecting shoes.
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. We would like to keep our wedding an intimate event, thank you for understanding and please feel free to reach out with any questions!
To allow all guests to relax and enjoy themselves, we have chosen to make our special day adults only. We hope you understand and have a fun night to yourselves celebrating us!
Duh! The drinks are on us, however shots will be unavailable but specialty cocktail drinks will be!
Our ceremony begins promptly t 4 pm, however, guests can begin to arrive after 3:30 pm so please plan accordingly. We strongly recommend getting to the venue between 3:30-3:50 pm.
We are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning that once the ceremony begins, we ask that all phones are put away and silenced. We want everyone to be fully present with us and for our photographer to be able to capture the best, authentic and candid pictures which we will share with you. Once the ceremony is over, feel free to take as many pictures as you'd like and don't forget to share them with us!
There is limited free parking on the nearby side streets of La Jolla. Ubers and Lyfts are strongly encouraged.
YES :) we are inviting all guests to join us to continue the celebration at Hennesy's Tavern located at 7811 Herschel Avenue La, Jolla, CA. We will be shuttling our guests from the venue to the after party and back to the hotel.
