Matt and Jill met on July 4th at the Jersey Shore through mutual friends. Matt later tutored Jill in math as she was taking her prerequisites for nursing school. Matt would meet Jill at Starbucks after work to help her study. Jill ended up taking Matt out on their first date to sushi as a thank you and the rest is history :)

Matt planned a beach picnic at one of the most beautiful spots in San Diego called Sunset Cliffs. They had been busy ever since the new year and wanted to spend time together so Jill didn't think too much of these plans. It was the most beautiful, warm, sunny day in March. Matt laid out a blanket and got out a charcuterie board. He was setting up everything and told Jill to look out at the view, when she turned around, he was down on one knee! Jill immediately said yes and then they got to take pictures at the beach to remember this moment. After their engagement shoot, Matt surprised Jill by celebrating with the rest of their family at a restaurant nearby. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
