For Our Out-of-Town Guests Thank you so much for making the extra effort to travel to San Francisco to be part of our big day. Your presence is so important to us and it just would not be the same without you. Thank you so much! We have not reserved a block of rooms at any one spot so we recommend booking your hotel as soon as you know you can make it.

Hotel

Lodge at the Presidio

105 Montgomery Street, San Francisco, CA 94129

If you want to stay as close as possible to the wedding venue, then this is the spot! The Lodge at the Presidio is a historic (although renovated), upscale boutique hotel directly across from our wedding venue. You’ll be sure to enjoy all that the beautiful Presidio has to offer including views of the Golden Gate and the newly finished Presidio Tunnel Top Park.

Hotel

Hyatt Centric Fisherman's Wharf San Francisco

555 North Point Street, San Francisco, CA 94133

Another great option for our out-of-town guests is to stay at the Hyatt in Fisherman’s Warf. This location is comfortable and includes amenities like a hot tub and pool (if you want to go for a swim in November). This hotel has ample parking and is only an 11-minute drive from our wedding venue. Plus, this hotel is within walking distance to so many iconic SF spots including Ghiradelli Square, PIER 39, North Beach, and of course Fisherman’s Wharf.

Hotel

Travelodge by Wyndham Presidio San Francisco

2755 Lombard Street, San Francisco, CA 94123

If you want to book a comfortable, economical spot just steps outside the Presidio then Travelodge is a great option. This hotel is a 3-minute drive to our wedding venue or a beautiful 15-minute walk through the Presidio.

Hotel

Stanyan Park Hotel

750 Stanyan Street, San Francisco, CA 94117

If you are looking to stay in a different part of the city to get a bigger SF experience then Stanyan Park is a great option. This hotel is opposite Golden Gate Park and located in the bohemian Haight Ashbury while also being less than a 15-minute drive to our wedding venue.

Travel Note

Travel tips from the Bride and Groom:

If you’re visiting us from out of town and looking for things to do, here are some of our favorite activities in San Francisco: Hang out in the Mission! Appreciate the murals, go on a quest for the best burrito (El Buen Sabor obviously), and visit the historic Victoria Theatre (where Julio and Jill first met). Have a picnic in Golden Gate Park. Visit the buffalo, pop into a museum, and ride the Ferris wheel (Julio and Jill did during the pandemic days)! Chill out on Haight Street. Eat Ben and Jerry’s ice cream (we love them), or shop in one of the many thrift shops (maybe you’ll spot Jill there, she’s addicted). Shop in Union Square While you’re there ride a cable car and see if you can spot some of the other theatres Julio and Jill have worked at (SF Playhouse and the Shelton Theatre)

For all the days along the way
