Wedding Party

Meet our family and friends supporting us on our very special day.

Jill Van Landghen

Bride

Jill is one of the kindest and most gentle persons I have ever met. She has shown me it is ok to love fast and love hard, while being vulnerable once again. She is my rock, and my safe space. The one I turn to when I need advice, or need to process some emotions. Jill is kind, soft, loving, and sweet, but also won’t hesitate to fire back some quick wit. She keeps me on my toes, I never know what she will say next. She amazes me with everything she has done she has done on her own, from moving across the country multiple times while accomplishing many academic achievements. In just a short amount of time we have fallen absolutely head over heels in love with each other, willing to give this crazy little thing called love, a chance.

John Vraspir

Groom

John is my rock, and my best friend. He came in to my life so unexpectedly and has shown up for me every single day. He is my calm, my strength, he is my peace. Through the many ups and down of this past year he has always had my back. This man loves me in more ways than I can describe He loves all parts of me, even the ones I dislike. He excites me, and dreams with me. I can not wait to see what our future holds, and doing every day with this man is the greatest joy I have experienced.

Donna Van Landghen

Mother of the Bride

Jill's parents have been married for 44 years. On Jill's wedding day there are many elements paying honor to their special day. The veil worn by Jill is hand created by her Grandma for Mom's wedding. The buttons on the back of Jill's dress came from Mom's wedding dress also handmade by Grandma.

Michael Van Landghen

Father of the Bride

All of Jill's humor comes from her Dad. That sarcastic quick wit runs deep. Growing up Jill and her Dad tackled many projects together and his love of woodwork has been passed down, and he even made the archway used in the ceremony.

Julie Prather

Mother of the Groom

Julie and John have always been very close, she has supported everything he has done and always been there to offer advice and give an opinion She has always pushed John to do his best and strive for greatness. She has been a rock in John’s life since day one.

Jess Prather

Father of the Groom

Jess has been a huge part of John’s life for the past 14 years. When John’s mom and Jess got married, Jess took in John and his brothers and treated them as his own. John and Jess have bonded over the years through numerous hunting trips, work, and many other fun adventures. Jess has been a teacher, a boss, a dad, and most importantly a friend. He has always been right there to offer his advice and wisdom, and give the occasional “what the hell were you thinking” as necessary. John is very grateful to have such a positive and inspirational influence in his life.

Joe Vraspir

Father of the Groom

John’s passion for sports and the outdoors stem from the relationship with his father, Joe. From the early years of tee-ball and dirtbike riding to their passion for outdoors and sports, these activities have brought them close together. Joe has always pushed John to be his best and has always supported John and offered advice when needed.

Ashley Bunge

Officiant

Ashley and Jill met in Chiropractic school through Ashley's husband Brian. Ashley and Brian moved back to Florida while Jill was in Orlando and they became a massive support system for each other through major life changes. They are also huge Disney Park goers and have spent many celebrations together at Disney.

Kate Habanek

Bridesmaid

Jill and Kate met in chiropractic school, and are both from Wisconsin. They easily bonded after Kate agreed to drive back to Wisconsin with Jill for one of the school breaks. Those drives between Wisconsin and Georgia ended up being some of Jill's favorite memories of Georgia

Trista Owczarzak

Bridesmaid

Trista and Jill met in undergrad as part of the Northern Michigan University Wildcat Marching Band. They lived across the hall from each other sophomore year, and Trista was wild enough to want to be roommates junior year.

Erin Sinkuler

Bridesmaid

The running joke is Erin adopted Jill one day early in chiropractic school. They quickly became inseparable throughout the school after becoming roommates Even taking trips together, hiking with our dogs, and hanging at her lake house.

Josiah Stoltzfus

Groomsman

Josiah has been a very close friend of John’s for a little over 5 years. The friendship grew fast as did the many memories along the way.

Nick Winbigler

Groomsman

Nick is one of John’s longest and closest friends, meeting a little over 9 years ago. They have enjoyed many adventures together, from building project vehicles to bonfires, these two have been inseparable for many years.

Hunter Wollman

Groomsman

Hunter and John share many common interests, the main one being a passion for guns. Hunter and John met through their mutual friend Nick about 6 years ago.

Gracie Vraspir

Flower Girl

Miss Gracie, is John's oldest. She loves princesses, sparkle dresses, and playing outside with her brother. She has a sweet and loving heart, that Jill quickly fell in love with.

Ben Vraspir

Ring Bearer

Little Benjamin is John's youngest. He is just like his dad, loves all things dirt, running the excavator with his dad, and playing baseball. It was impossible for Jill to not love him from the start.

Amy Whyte

Wedding Planner

We met Amy at a wedding expo and instantly loved her. She also is from Florida, met an Idaho man and never left. She has been an absolute lifesaver while planning a "destination wedding" for the bride. IF you have any questions at all during the wedding, please find Amy and she will take good care of you.
