Tuxes are welcome but not expected. -Suit & tie (tux optional). -Dressy cocktail-length or midi dresses in evening fabrics, long gowns welcome; tailored jumpsuits also work. -Lawn/brick walkways — choose block heels, wedges, or dressy flats.

When does the ceremony start, and when should we arrive?

The ceremony begins promptly at 2:00 PM. Please arrive by 1:30 PM to park, find your seat, and settle in. We’re starting on time—with or without the bride (legendary for running 30 minutes late).

Is there a gap between ceremony and reception? What should we do?

Dennis is best for B&Bs/inns and house rentals. The closest bases are Dennis Village and East Dennis. Great nearby options are listed in the Travel & Lodging section of this site. No room block: Because Dennis is mostly charming B&Bs and rental homes, we’re not setting up a traditional hotel block. Please book early and choose what fits your group best (Dennis Village, East Dennis, Brewster, Yarmouth Port, or Dennis Port).

Yes—perfect for families and groups. Search Dennis Village/East Dennis (closest), plus Brewster, Yarmouth Port, and Dennis Port. Summer often has 2–3-night minimums. The Dennis Inn also lists several nearby walkable houses—those book quickly.

Is there an after-party?

Answer

There’s no official after-party (the venue we love can’t be rented out), but anyone who wants to keep the celebration going can head to The Woodshed (Brewster) for more drinks, fun vibes, and live music. Come as you are—join if you’re up for it!
