What are Covid policies in Florida/venues?

Answer

UPDATE: Govern DeSantis has lifted the mask mandates for the state of Florida as we are no longer in a state of emergency. Local businesses can still require/recommend mask and social distancing polices if they would like. Please bring a mask with you to when going around exploring Sarasota. Most places recommend to wear a mask in indoor public places when moving around. If you plan to be seated for food or drinks, masks can be removed but must be put back on when standing up to move around the facility. OUR EVENTS: Open House: It will mostly be outdoors and at our home. Up to you if you would like to wear a mask or take other precautions. Ceremony: The hotel still has a mask policy. Masks must be worn indoor at all times. If social distancing is not possible, masks are strongly encouraged when outdoors. Reception: At Big Top, since it is a private event, masks will not be required. But again, do what makes you comfortable.

What is the weather like?

Answer

It is truly Florida summer. Be prepared for hot, humid but hope for a nice ocean breeze. There is a good chance of an afternoon shower, but that is the perfect time to nap and recharge. Please drink lots of water and apply sunscreen often!

Can we drink on the beach?

Answer

Manatee county does not allow alcohol on the beach. Therefore, the hotel will not allowed alcohol on the beach. Pool side bar will be open and we will also have a cabana that will have service as well. Or get creative...

Will it be outside?

Answer

Have you met us, YES! Ceremony will be on the beach, reception will be under stars.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Ceremony: Beach casual. Sun dresses, shorts, airy shirts, etc. No shoes necessary but please wear the rest of your clothing. Reception: Again, casual. This is a one of our favorite establishments so shoes REQUIRED this time.

Is there transportation to and from the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes. We will have transportation to and from Zota to Big Top. Service will be operating 90 minutes before and after the reception. Want to only take the shuttle to Big Top? That is fine but please have a responsible way of getting to your next destination. Uber and Lyft are options if needed. Valet at the hotel after the reception may be difficult. If you plan to be responsible and drive after the reception, it is suggested that you drive to Big Top and not leave your car at the hotel. ***PICK UP: 6:15 sharp! Whoever is down and fits on the trolley will get to go on the first trip. There will be two trips but depending on traffic, the trolley may not get back until 730/745. Please be ready on time!

If your invitation was addressed to you and your significant other or "guest", then yes.

Right here on our website! Click the registry tab above and see all the fun things on the list! If you prefer to shop in store, we are registered at Target and Crate & Barrel. Our registries from these stores sync to our Zola registry daily. Traveling far? Zola will help ship the gift right to our house to make traveling easier.

I have a food allergy or special dietary needs, can I make a special request?

If you have any major allergies or special dietary needs, please let us know in advance! We will try our best to work with the chef to ensure there is something available for you.

Answer

Click the RSVP tab on our website and search for your name. It will walk you through it all! Not super tech savvy? First bribe your kids to do it. If that doesn't work, feel free to text or call us and we can do it for you!

As open as a brewery can get! Beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options only.
