Yes, when traveling to Kenya, you will need to secure a tourist visa. Visas can be purchased in advance. They take at least a few days to process, so DO NOT LEAVE THIS TOO LATE. Here is the website for an e-visa. https://evisa.go.ke/ The cost is $50 USD and it will be valid for a single-entry, maximum 90-day trip. Please reach out to Chic Aura for any additional questions.
1. There are no longer any Covid requirements needed to enter Kenya. 2. You will have to have your yellow fever vaccine if you do not have it already. Yellow fever vaccines last for life (even the ones that said they last 10 years have been updated to be a lifetime cover). If you need to get your yellow fever vaccine, please speak with your doctor and get a referral to a travel clinic or tropical medicine clinic, as this vaccine is usually not offered at a regular doctor's office. 3. It's recommended that travelers take prescription medicine to prevent malaria. Depending on the medicine you take, you will need to start taking this medicine multiple days before your trip, as well as during and after your trip. Talk to your doctor about which malaria medication you should take.
