Do I need a passport to attend your wedding?

Answer

Yes! You will need a passport that expires at least 6 months after the end of the trip to be able to attend our wedding. Please make sure you leave plenty of time to get or renew your passport.

Will there be transportation from the Cancun airport to the resort?

Answer

Please book transportation through our travel agent (The Trip Guy). There is an option to book transportation when making your room reservation. Transportation is $90 round trip per person from the Cancun Airport to TRS Yucatan / Grand Palladium Kantenah. Transportation is private for our wedding guests and you will not have to stop at any additional resorts on your way from or to the airport. If you would like to book your own transportation, there are other transfer companies available from the Cancun airport. Please reserve transportation in advance.

Will there be transportation provided to Blue Venado?

Answer

Yes! We have arranged complimentary transportation from TRS to Blue Venado. We have also arranged for transportation back to TRS. No Ubers or taxis are required!

What is the attire for the wedding?

Answer

Our celebration will be beach formal. Think light, flowy midi to floor length dresses and linen suits or slacks and button ups. The ceremony will be outside on the sand and the reception will be on a surface with wooden slats. We recommend wearing shoes that are comfortable for both settings. Please do not wear shorts or jeans.

Will there be other events during the wedding weekend?

Answer

Yes! We will have a welcome party on Friday November 6th, but details haven't been finalized. We will share information as soon as it is available. We will also have other unofficial events throughout the weekend if you want to spend more time with us!

Are children allowed at the wedding?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our ceremony and reception will be adults-only. If you are traveling with children, keep in mind that you must stay at the Grand Palladium Kantenah section. Please contact the hotel directly for babysitting services.

Will there be a room block?

Answer

Yes, we have secured a room block at TRS Yucatan / Grand Palladium Kantenah. They are on the same property. The Grand Palladium Kantenah is one of the family friendly sections of the hotel. TRS Yucatan is the ADULTS ONLY section of the hotel. Those staying at TRS Yucatan will have full access to the Grand Palladium Complex, but those staying at Grand Palladium Kantenah (except adults staying in the Family Selection rooms) will unfortunately NOT have access to TRS Yucatan. See the "Travel" tab for information on how to book through our room block. Rooms are first come, first serve. If there is a room option that is no longer available or if you have additional questions, please email jiazachwedding2026@tripguy.com.

Can we accommodate dietary restrictions?

Answer

Yes! Please make sure you include any dietary restrictions on your RSVP so we can let the caterer know.

What will the weather in Mexico be like?

Answer

In early November, Riviera Maya typically experiences warm and pleasant weather as it transitions from the rainy season to the dry season. Expect average daytime highs around 82-84°F, with evenings cooling down to around 72°F.

How will I stay in touch with the wedding couple and other guests throughout the weekend?

Answer

Jia and Zach will create a Whatsapp group with all people attending the wedding. In this group, we will post information about formal and informal wedding activities, where we will be, and other meet up opportunities. Please download Whatsapp to be able to access this group!

What do I do if I have travel related questions?

Answer
