What is your COVID-19 Contingency Plan?

Answer

The health and safety of our friends and family is our top priority. We hope we will be able to have everyone in attendance at the event we are planning August 1, 2021. We are currently planning the following safety measures: - We ask that if you are ill, had COVID symptoms in the last 14 days before our wedding or have had contact with someone who has tested positive in the last 14 days, that you stay home. We will celebrate with you safely at another date.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We have registries at Zola, Amazon, Bed bath and Beyond and Target. The registry page on the website will highlight the things on our wishlist and provide a direct link to make a purchase.

Will you also be accepting monetary gifts?

Answer

If our guests would rather contribute to our honeymoon fund or big move to our new home, we will be accepting cash gifts through the cash fund on the Zola Registry.

Are kids invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

What’s the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail, please. But we want you to feel comfortable and experience the beauty of the garden, so we suggest comfortable shoes for the terrain.

Answer

Yes. The hotel recommendations are listed on the accommodations page.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Guests can arrive as early as 5:30pm to the venue.

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

Self Parking will be available at the venue, with ample space for each guests.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will take place outdoors and the reception under an enclosed tent.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the cocktail area where we will be serving finger foods and beverages.

Can I take pictures and/or post photos of your wedding on social media?

Answer

While we ask that all electronic devices are put away for the ceremony, we 100% encourage you to take and post pictures from the rest of the days events! Please use our hashtags #AdventuresOfKCandJhoJho and #ChosenByCompton so we can see all of the pictures! :)
