For those that want to skip the ferry, there are flights available to the island! JetBlue, Delta, and Cape Air all fly to Martha's Vineyard.

Arrive by Ferry

Car and passenger tickets from Woods Hole: https://www.steamshipauthority.com *A car is NOT necessary on the island, but if you hope to bring yours, you must book your car reservation in January to guarantee space on the ferry* There are two main ferry options: 1) Make a reservation for your car (~$100 each way). Reservations open January 1, 2021 and we recommend booking asap. 2) Go onto the ferry as a passenger only. It's ~$8/person each way. When we travel to MV, we typically do this with a reservation (just to be safe), but you can also buy tickets day-of at the ticket office located in Woods Hole! Give yourself some extra time if you're buying day-of, and remember that the last ferry leaves Woods Hole at 9:45pm! If you plan to leave your car behind in Woods Hole, there is parking available on Palmer Ave with a shuttle that will bring you to the ferry. Again though, plan ahead and give yourself extra time for this.
