When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP by September 1st 2025 for all wedding weekend events. In addition to completed RSVP's, Please forward your flight and hotel information to Jhazmin.griffith@live.com.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Please let us know if you would like to invite a guest. Many of you already have an option to add a plus one on the RSVP page. Others may not, simply because we were unaware. We would love to accommodate everyone but we would need to verify seating availability first.

How do we travel around Cartagena?

Answer

There are many options available for travel in and around Cartagena. -We've found that the easiest option is UBER. Ubers in Cartagena are extremely cheap and very reliable (i.e $5 usd to get to walled city or Getsemani from Bocagrande) -Rental cars are also readily available but the streets are small and parking is difficult. Plus who wants to drive when you should be drinking ;)

How far is the designated wedding hotel from the wedding venue?

Hyatt Regency Cartagena is located in Bocagrande which is about 7 mins by car from Casa 1537, the wedding venue.

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception be outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and Cocktail hour will be outdoors. The Reception will be held indoors in an Air conditioned ballroom.

Will the wedding be 'Open Bar?'

Answer

Of course! Our cocktail hour and reception will have a fully stocked open bar! You may bring some cash to tip any staff that you feel provided excellent service.

What is the dress code?

Chiva Night- Casual-Anything goes Welcome Cocktail- All white, Cocktail attire Wedding Day- Black tie (not an actual black tie lol) think formal, suits, tuxedos, floor length gowns or midi dresses

How is the weather in January.

Answer

Daytime highs typically reach around 30°C (86°F), while nighttime lows are around 24°C (75°F) . Some days may see temperatures as high as 34°C (93°F). January is in Cartagena's Dry season. The weather is overall pleasant with minimal rainfall.
