FAQsFAQs

The Wedding Website of Amanda Rodriguez and Jevon Searight
Question

What is the dress code? What is the dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is semi-formal. We want you to feel your best—elegant but comfortable enough to celebrate with us all night long! For ladies: Cocktail dresses, midi dresses, or stylish jumpsuits are great choices. Dressy separates work too. Floor-length gowns are optional, but not required. For gentlemen: A suit or dress pants with a button-down shirt and blazer is perfect. Ties are optional but encouraged. No jeans, shorts, or casual sneakers, please. Special note: If you require sneakers for medical reasons, we kindly ask that they be neutral-colored and clean to maintain the overall aesthetic of the event. Otherwise, sneakers are not part of the dress code.

Question

Are children invited?Are children invited?

Answer

While we adore your little ones, our wedding will be a mostly adults-only celebration. That said, if your invitation specifically includes your child(ren) by name, they are warmly welcome to attend. If your invitation was addressed to just you (or you and a partner), we kindly ask that you make arrangements for childcare, as only those children listed on the invitation will be included in our final guest count. If you have any questions or are unsure about your invitation, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us directly.

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

If your invitation includes a “plus-one” or lists an additional guest by name, then yes—your guest is warmly invited to join! If your invitation was addressed to just you, we kindly ask that you attend solo, as we are unable to accommodate additional guests beyond those invited.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors? Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and the reception will take place indoors, so you'll be comfortable regardless of the weather! There will be a short outdoor pathway between the ceremony and reception spaces, so we recommend keeping that in mind when choosing your shoes and bringing a light layer, especially if it’s chilly in the evening.

Question

What time should I arrive? What time should I arrive?

Answer

We kindly ask guests to arrive at least 15 minutes before the ceremony start time. We plan to begin the ceremony promptly at 4:30pm, and we want to ensure everyone is seated and settled beforehand. The venue will open to guests approximately 4:15pm, and there will be a designated indoor waiting area where you can relax before the ceremony begins. Light refreshments will be available, and our team will be on hand to help guide you to the ceremony space when it’s time!

Question
