Spruce Mountain Ranch is at 14771 S Spruce Mountain Rd, Larkspur, CO 80118. Take I-25 south to Exit 173. Follow Spruce Mountain Road through the small town of Larkspur for a little over 7 miles. The entrance to the ranch is just a little past the Spruce Mountain Open Space Trail on the right.
The dress code is cocktail attire. For men, it typically means a suit, dress shirt, with or without tie, while for women, it includes cocktail dresses, elegant jumpsuits, or dressy separates. Think nicer than business casual but not black tie. Nice jeans/cowboy boots are acceptable. Bright colors encouraged!
Both! Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outside. Cocktail hour will have indoor shading and seating available with garage doors opening to an outside lawn and patio area. Dinner will be indoors. The dance floor is outside. We will have blankets available! If it's cold or raining, we have indoor options for all events.
May in Denver can be unpredictable, you could be at the pool, or building a snowman at that time, you never know in Colorado!! May 2025 had highs between 70-85 degrees and lows between 50-60 degrees. Snow is possible at that time but unlikely. Afternoon rain showers lasting less than an hour are common. If you're visiting the mountains, the higher in elevation you go, the colder it will be.
Yes, there will be a shuttle leaving from the Kimpton Claret hotel around 3:15 pm to take guests to the wedding venue. Please meet in the lobby at 3:00 pm if you are planning on utilizing the shuttle. ***Please note: Lyft/Uber Rideshares will not be available from the venue. We have arranged for Shuttle transportation back to the Kimpton Claret hotel in DTC where rideshares are readily available. There will be two return trips from the venue back to the hotel at 9:15 and 11:15 pm.
Guests should arrive between 3:45-4pm as there is a short shuttle ride from the parking lot of the venue to the ceremony site. There are bathrooms and water at the ceremony site.
YES! Many of our friends and families have young children and we want everyone to come! There will be a designated person keeping an eye the kids so the parents can have enjoy and relax as well. There will be separate kids meals with chicken nuggets, mac and cheese and fruit. There will probably be 20-30 children in attendance of all ages.
There will be water, tea and lemonade stations available during the entire evening. There will be passed appetizers for cocktail hour and an open bar all evening. Dinner is chicken, steak, mashed potatoes, green beans, salad and biscuits. Dessert will knock your socks off!
Yes! When you pull into the entrance, you will follow the signs down a short drive that ends in a large parking lot. Do not leave your car overnight.
