Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We would love to see our friends and family in their "Sunday best"! Please be mindful of the weather, as the reception will be held outdoors and avoid wearing shades of white. We’re asking close family to avoid black/very dark colors if possible for photo purposes.

Are kids invited?

Answer

Due to limited space, only kiddos in the wedding party are invited, unless specified on your invitation. If this for some reason affects your ability to join us please reach out! Otherwise, enjoy the night off and celebrate with us!

Where should I park for the ceremony?

Answer

If you are attending the ceremony, there will be parking in the Trinity Church parking lot next to our church. Please note, we're using Scholte church, the small white church on the corner of the Pella Historical Village NOT Trinity Church.

When should I arrive?

Answer

Please aim to arrive a half hour early to the ceremony at 3:30 so we can start at 4:00. For those of you we will only see at the reception, shoot for 5:00, we hope to see you just after!

What time is everything done?

Answer

Our reception venue requires everything and everyone to be out by 10:30 before the park closes. We plan to wrap things up around 10 p.m. so there aren't any complications.

Beverages?

Answer

There will be water, lemonade, and the Groom’s choice of beer for as long as it lasts. Other than that, you are welcome to BYOB of choice as there won’t be a cash bar available. PLEASE avoid any glass bottles or hard liquor due to the Venue’s regulations.
