Hosting
As we have traveled around the world, an app we occasionally used to find accommodation was Couchsurfers - which is an app to find good-hearted people with an interest to meet new people, willing to host travelers at their house, free of charge. Not only is it a way to meet genuine, interesting people & save a few dollars, it is also one of the best ways to experience others’ cultures, for both the guests AND hosts. So our idea is to merge our two worlds & ask our guests:
If you are local (Bismarck or Hazelton areas), would you like to host a guest(s) from out-of-state / out-of-country?
Hosting can be whatever you are comfortable with offering, some suggestions are: offering a place to stay, meals, pick up from the airport, a ride to the wedding, showing them around or interesting things.
If you are coming from out-of-state or out-of-country, would you like to be hosted by a local guest?

One of our most memorable Couchsurfing experiences was staying on a private island in the Philippines - thanks to Couchsurfer, Rex!

Dinner with Morris and Alice in a local Chinese restaurant in Hong Kong. It was in a dark alley and men in the restaurant were playing Mahjong, smoking heavily, and spitting on the floor frequently.
