A local favorite and a special place for us—Amber even worked here during college! The Pine Bush is incredibly beautiful, with sandy trails, wildflowers, and wide-open skies. The hiking trails are easy, peaceful, and perfect for a relaxing walk before or after the wedding.
Ann Lee Pond Nature and Historic Preserve
Just a short drive from our wedding celebration, Ann Lee Pond offers a peaceful natural escape that’s perfect for guests of all ages. Wander the easy 2–2.5 mile loop trails through forests, wetlands, and meadows, including a scenic boardwalk over the pond — great for casual hiking, birdwatching, and nature photography.
Cohoes Falls
One of the most impressive waterfalls in the area, Cohoes Falls is a quick and scenic stop just outside Albany. Take in the views from Falls View Park, where you’ll find walking paths and overlooks perfect for photos and a peaceful moment outdoors.
