Jake is Jess’s younger brother. He’s a talented musician who was a member of the local band, Mucky Peat and the Macrophytes. He will be performing a selection of music during the ceremony and reception.

Roger Hille

Officiant

Arguably the most important person in the wedding party. Without someone to sign the papers there wouldn’t be a marriage. Jess met Roger many years ago on a winter wonderland trail ride when her horse, Reidar, was in training. Since that time, she has been a guest at Roger’s Windmill Ranch in Mandan, ND every summer. They have made (and forgotten) many treasured memories riding the range and practicing cowboy poetry around the campfire. Roger, Julie, their kids, and grandkids are not family by blood or by law; they are the special kind of family that we have by choice.
