Question

What time should I be there?

Answer

Please do not arrive before 3:30pm. We want to make sure everything is setup and comfortable for you. The ceremony will begin at 4:30pm. There will be a social hour immediately following at approximately 5pm. (Jess and Kasey will be taking photos with our families during this time). Supper will begin at approximately 6pm and then we will open the dance floor.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Wear something that makes you feel fabulous! Fancy dress is encouraged but certainly not required! The wedding will be in the machine shed at a working farm. The driveway is gravel, so there might be dust. It gets hot in July, even this far north, but the evening should be pleasant. Wear something that makes you feel comfortable and confident and don’t forget your dancing shoes!

Can I bring a friend, coworker, significant other, children?

Answer

If they were included on the invitation and you RSVP’d they were coming then they are welcome! We will have some games and activities for the kids but childcare is not provided.

Can I bring my dogs/goats/llamas?

Answer

While we absolutely LOVE all animals we request you do not bring them to the wedding. If you need recommendations for a boarding kennel, Jess has boarded her dogs at Katie’s Kennels in Red Lake Falls and found them to have the most reasonable rates for multi dog households.

What should I plan for during the wedding?

Answer

There will be plenty of tables and chairs and *no* assigned seating. Sit where you would like. We want our guests to experience the ceremony with their real eyes and ears and not filtered through their phone camera. We have hired a professional photographer to capture all of the ceremony. Please be respectful of her and give her space to do her job. The ceremony will be short and sweet and very special to us. You don’t want to miss it! Supper will be fantastic! Served buffet style with plenty of options. There will be a few short speeches and a couple of special dances. We will have a selection of beverages to suit all tastes. We are very excited about the DJ, he’s promised to make it a very entertaining and enjoyable night! A shuttle has been booked to transport folks from the hotels in Roseau to the farm and then back again at the end of the night. Please let us know if you plan on using the shuttle so we can let the driver know.

Badger is near Roseau, MN.
