Our journey started on Match.com while looking for our special person. Jeremy "liked" me and I later liked him back, to which Jeremy's initial pickup line was "soooo, you're a Packers fan eh??" Game on! That's when it all started with some fun rivalry and the rest is history. Later on we discovered Jeremy wasn't in my Match.com proximity specified, however I was within .3 miles of his so it's pretty nuts we even matched...the stars must've been aligned :)

Jeremy mentioned having a weekend with just the two of us and that there would be a lot of "firsts". I didn't think anything of it beyond a fun weekend. We went to a drive-in movie theater, hit up his local Farmer's market and set out for a day-trip to Michigan to visit some wineries, all firsts. We had dinner reservations at a supper club there, where they were severely short-staffed and running way behind. We headed to the bar where a guy bought us a round of drinks, stating that we looked like "Ken & Barbie" and asked if we were married. Little did he know (myself included), we'd be engaged later that night! Dinner ran ~2 hours behind once we wrapped up and little did I know, Jeremy was sweating bullets. He asked me if I'd be up for one more stop and thinking it would be a nightcap, I agreed. It was pitch dark when we pulled into a desolate park. Jeremy tells me we were supposed to be there about 2 hours ago, but to trust him. So we proceeded to walk through the woods on a dirt trail for what seemed like forever, where I eventually asked him if he was going to kill me??! He chuckled and said no, but we were almost there. Finally we reached a clearing where I could see the beach and as we walked onto the sand, he got down on one knee under the moonlight and started popping the question. I was so surprised I kept repeating "OMG" and didn't let him speak!! I finally said "YES" once my brain fully registered what was happening and was in a state of amazing shock. Although it wasn't exactly how he anticipated it would go, it ended up being perfect as it was just the two of us and a very special moment under the stars. We're so excited to celebrate this next adventure of our lives with you!!
