We met online dating- thanks Facebook!- and although there was some immediate tension, him being a Vikings fan and all, it led quickly to some competitive banter. We had our first date on October 3rd, where we went to Sever's Corn Maze and immediately had a connection. We spent the day eating fall treats, feeding Ostriches, Llamas, and other fun animals, and getting lost in the corn maze learning about one another. Sever's is now a yearly tradition for our family and a great way to bring ourselves back to the beginning of our love story. We fell in love in the fall, and we're excited to share our love with you all in the heart of fall in the woods.

Up in the Northwoods, at the cabin that had been in my family all of my life- my favorite place on Earth- Steven set up the proposal of my dreams. Right at sunset I thought we were headed down to the lake to go on a sunset cruise. To my surprise, I found Steven on the rose petal covered, candle-light dock ready to propose with a beautiful ring that used two of my grandma's diamonds. It was the most beautiful proposal at the most perfect spot. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you at Camp!
