How can I get to Portland?
Answer
For those of you attending from out of town, Portland can be accessed by plane, train and car. The Portland Airport (PDX) is about 20-25 minutes away from Downtown Portland. Alaska Airlines probably has the greatest number of flights, other carriers also fly into Portland. Lyft and Uber can be accessed from the airport, and “old fashioned” taxis are also available from the airport. Amtrak offers the Coast Starlight, which runs daily from Los Angeles to Portland and offers beautiful scenic views of the Best Coast! The downtown station is just steps away from the Benson Hotel. If you want to drive, that’s awesome! It takes about 10 hours to drive from San Francisco to Portland. If you have an electric vehicle be aware that while there are plenty of charging stations throughout Portland, not all are created equal and some can be VERY slow to charge up.

We love and respect all types of relationships and families, however we request that only those listed on the invitation attend.

My/our child/children are traveling with us, but they will not be attending the wedding. Do you have suggestions for babysitters?

What is the weather like?

September in Portland is always a little tricky, but the past few years have been quite warm/hot. That said, rain is always a possibility.

How to get to the wedding venue?
Answer
The Redd on Salmon Street has a limited amount of parking. We would recommend you take Uber, Lyft or a taxi to the venue. (And this way you won’t need a designated driver!). It is about a 10 minute ride from downtown Portland.
