Yes! We want to celebrate with all of our family and friends, including the little ones. We're also happy to be your excuse for getting a babysitter and having some kid free fun if that's what you want. If you need help finding a local babysitter, please let us know! We're also happy to help arrange sitters for after the wedding if you want to bring the little ones to the reception and then leave them at the hotel while we all go to the bar.
We have a photographer that we really love. So out of respect to her and to the sanctity of the mass, please do not take pictures during the ceremony. She will make sure that we get all of the photos that we need and we want everyone to be present and enjoy the ceremony. We also ask that you refrain from posting any pictures of important reception moments such as the first dance, father/daughter dance, cake cutting, etc... until we have gotten our professional pictures back and have a chance to share the images of our choice from our big day.
We are not registered for gifts. We have decided to ask for donations to our favorite causes and charities instead. We have more than enough stuff and just want our wedding weekend to be about celebrating. We'll gladly take cards and well wishes, but seriously we don't need any more stuff!. If you really want to give us something, please consider making a donation to charity in our honor.
Absolutely not! We will be up early to run and we know many of our friends and family who do run will want to join us. Please do not feel any pressure to participate if it is not your thing.
While we understand that not everyone can travel to our wedding, especially in the time of Covid, however, we will not be streaming our wedding and we will be having an unplugged ceremony.
