Palomino Island
Only a few miles directly off of the Lima coast, you can visit an island that is teeming with Sea Lions, and even jump in the water to swim with them! See the link below for a tour option.
Larcomar
A shopping mall built into the side of the cliffs on the coast of Miraflores, this is a great place to come for great shopping and restaurants.

Central
If you want to really splurge in Lima, we recommend visiting Central which is often considered to be the best restaurant in the world. Reservations are needed far in advance.
Tori Pollería
A trip to Lima isn't complete without trying the famous Peruvian roast chicken- "pollo a la brasa." Tori Polleria in Miraflores has some of the best in the city.
Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu
We highly recommend if you have a few extra days, to fly to Cusco to visit one of the seven wonders of the world, Machu Picchu. Round trip flights from Lima are around $100 and take just over an hour. You can choose to visit via trek or via bus. We recommend purchasing tickets well in advance. Paracas/Huacachina
If you have an extra day or two, Paracas is an easy day trip away from Lima (4 hours via road). Here, you can see sea lions and penguins on the Ballestas Islands, drive a dune buggy or go sand surfing in the desert, visit the beautiful dessert/ocean combo of Paracas National Reserve, or trek the "Golden Shadows." With longer time you can even fly over the mysterious Nazca Lines or drive a dune buggy or sand board in the desert oasis of Huacachina. See the link below for more details.
