Flight
We recommend San Francisco Int’l (SFO) and Oakland Int’l (OAK) airports for those flying. It takes around 45 minutes to an hour to get to Marin from either airport. Renting a car is a great way to explore the Bay Area and freely get around. The Marin Airporter (SFO) or Airport Express (OAK) are also convenient transportation options to get to Marin from the airport.
Rental Car
Bay Area bridge tolls are assessed electronically through FasTrak. If you are driving from Oakland to Marin or Marin to San Francisco, you will incur a toll. Speak with your rental car agency about payment options. Follow the link to the FasTrak website here for more information.
Travel Note
There is free parking at the welcome party and wedding venue for those who plan to drive. Taxi, Lyft, and Uber can also transport you from most Marin towns. Please note that rideshare wait times can vary but it is possible to schedule a ride in advance to ensure a particular pickup timeframe.
Hotel
The Courtyard by Marriott is a short walk from the Marin Airporter’s “Larkspur Landing” shuttle stop and a 10 minute drive to the venue. Within walking distance, you will have easy access to restaurants and shops, a Saturday morning farmers market, and the ferry to downtown San Francisco. This is where we are planning to stay.

House Or Rental
There are many apartments and houses of all sizes available on Airbnb or VRBO. We suggest staying in San Rafael or San Anselmo if you’d like to keep close to the festivities. You could also consider staying in West Marin, Sausalito, San Francisco, or any number of special spots in the Bay Area you’d like to explore.
