Spend the day in beautiful West Marin! Start in Point Reyes Station to pick up cheese at Cowgirl Creamery and bread from Brick Maiden. Find luxury organic linens at Coyuchi or gourmet snacks, art, and gifts at Toby’s Feed Barn. Head up the road a bit to grab some oysters from Hog Island or Tomales Bay Oyster Company. Explore the seashore and visit Limantour Beach, take an easy scenic hike at Chimney Rock Trail, brave the steps to the lighthouse, or enjoy the wildflowers along the trail to Kehoe Beach.
The Sunday morning farmers’ market at the Marin Civic Center provides farm fresh foods, crafts, and live music all at the base of Frank Lloyd Wright’s iconic architecture. There is also a lively farmers’ market on Fourth Street in San Rafael on Thursday evenings or a Saturday morning farmers' market at the Marin Country Mart.
Jessie and Patrick’s favorite bagels. Once you have your bagel in hand, head down the block to grab coffee from San Anselmo Coffee Roasters, then enjoy your breakfast across the street at Imagination Park with Yoda and Indiana Jones (thanks George Lucas!).
Marin Country Mart is an easy walk for those staying at the Courtyard Marriott at Larkspur Landing. We recommend checking out Rustic Bakery, Hog Island Oyster, Marin Brewing Company, and the Saturday morning farmers' market. You'll be right across the street from the ferry to San Francisco as well.
