A standout among the many bars & restaurants in the university area, the Frog & Firkin does what very few pubs can claim – combine a festive atmosphere and great beer with a menu that could stand on its own in any restaurant setting. A normal hangout in college for Jessie and her friends. Caught all the U of A games here that we could!
Mount Lemmon
Things To Do on Mt. Lemmon MUST DO: Summerhaven’s Cookie Cabin- you have to get a cookie here! There are also lovely hikes, such as the lush and shady Butterfly Trail, camping among the fresh-smelling pines in Spencer Canyon, fishing at Rose Canyon Lake and lots of picnic spots. Get mesmerized by the evening sky at Mt. Lemmon SkyCenter Observatory. Mt. Lemmon Ski Valley runs its ski lift in the summer for an excursion so elevated it’s promoted as “where the earth meets heaven.” In winter, clamp on (or rent) your skis or snowboard and hit the slopes. Refuel at Iron Door Restaurant with delicious German food.
Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum
It typically takes at least two hours to see all that the Museum has to offer. Sunday through Friday — Regular Hours: 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Your ticket purchase directly supports the Desert Museum and our mission. General Admission (ages 13-64): $29.95 Youth (ages 3-12): $19.95

The Mission is open daily, with offerings for prayer, exploration, and reflection: Church Hours: 9 AM – 4 PM Gift Shop: Open 8 AM – 5 PM Museum and Mausoleum: Open 9 AM – 4 PM Restrooms: Open 9 AM – 4 PM Important Notes for Visitors San Xavier del Bac Mission is located on tribal land and adheres to tribal regulations. The church does not have air conditioning or heating, so please come prepared for the weather. During hot months, bring water and sun protection as there is little to no shade outside of the church, and in the winter, be sure to dress warmly.
