Summer Semi-Formal Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside on the lawn, so keep the grass in mind when choosing your shoes (block heels, wedges, or flats are great options!). The reception will be both indoors and outdoors, and it can cool off by the water in the evening, so bringing a light sweater or jacket isn't a bad idea. Have fun with it—we'd love to see lots of color, fun patterns, and summery textures! Most importantly, wear something you feel comfortable in and get ready to celebrate with us!
While we love your children, we’re keeping our wedding an adults-only celebration. We hope you'll enjoy a weekend or night out to relax, celebrate, and dance with us! Thank you for understanding and making arrangements in advance.
We recommend securing your lodging as soon as possible, as Traverse City is a popular destination and fills up quickly during the summer months. We’ve reserved a few hotel room blocks at discounted rates for a limited time. You can find booking details and additional accommodation information on the Travel tab of our website.
Complimentary shuttle transportation will be provided to and from the wedding for guests staying at our hotel blocks. You're also welcome to use the shuttle even if you're staying elsewhere—just meet us at one of the designated hotel pickup locations! Shuttle departure times will be posted on our website as the wedding date approaches. Please note that there will be more shuttle departures following the reception than before the ceremony to help everyone get back safely. We hope you'll take advantage of the shuttle, relax, celebrate, and enjoy the evening with us!
Jordan recently accepted a position with a private practice in Traverse City, and we’ll be making the move in June! As we begin this exciting new chapter in Northern Michigan, it felt so special to celebrate our wedding in the place we’ll soon call home.
