Depending on where you stay, the venue is approximately 15 minutes from Downtown Traverse City.
We are going for a formal/semi-formal look. The venue is all outside, with the reception under a large tent. It will be late August, so we are assuming it is going to be pretty warm. In hopes the weather holds up (I.e no rain), please dress what you will be comfortable in! We ask that women wear mid- floor length dresses, and no common bride colors such as ivory, beige, champagne, or white. And men, button up shirts, but no jeans or shorts.
The ceremony and reception will be adults only with the exception of our flower girls during the ceremony. We hope you use our wedding as an evening to relax and enjoy! We appreciate you making prior childcare arrangements so you can celebrate with us.
If you plan to drive to the wedding, there is parking directly in front of where the ceremony/reception will be taking place. You may leave your car at the venue overnight, but we kindly ask you pick your vehicle up by 10am the next day (Saturday). If you are staying at our recommended hotel, we will ensure a shuttle will be available to drop off and pick up the day of.
All invited guests will be listed on the formal invitation. We unfortunately cannot accommodate additional guests. We thank you for understanding!
Depending on your navigation and which address you search, it may lead you to the venues main office. Where the ceremony and reception are, you should see a dirt road with a welcome sign. There will be arrows to guide you to the Hill Top site.
