St Augustine is a tourist Mecca. It is a 45 min drive from Jax but you can spend the day looking in all the shops along St. George street, go to wine tastings, visit the museums, eat at one of the tons of restaurants, and visit the fort. Great day trip.
If you’d like to camp rather than stay at a hotel, this is a great spot. This campground is right on the beach and has spots for RVs as well as primitive campsites. It will be about 30 mins from the wedding and reception.
