This wedding is going to be at Metro Park behind the WJCT building! We ask if you would like to sit please bring a camping chair. The bathrooms are pretty far away but we will have small pee tents set up. So try todo any business before you come. It’s gonna be short and sweet and then we’re going to throw down at Shantytown!
There is no dress code! Come in whatever attire you think would be fun at our wedding. Word of the wise though: there will probably be a hefty amount of pirates about.
We will provide coolers of water at the ceremony but the real drinking will be at the reception afterwards at Shantytown! If you want to bring a beverage with you you’re more than welcome. There will be batched liquor at the reception as a gift to you all and two free kegs but if you want fancy craft beers then you can buy them from the bar. Please bring cash to tip our wonderful bartender and friend Kali!
Dinner will be a low country boil at Shantytown. If you’re not into seafood we will be providing a meat item instead. I think we’ve settled on pulled pork. There is no seating arrangement. Grab some food and get cozy!
Our talented friends Blossom’n Bone will be playing the music for the wedding on the pirate ship. Jessie’s god father, the legendary Scott Sweet will be playing some acoustic tunes for you all as you come into Shantytown for the reception. Our awesome friends Mudtown will be playing a set for all you fine folks at the reception so bring some tips for the band and buy their merch! Dj Giani will be providing tunes after their set to carry on the party.
We don’t like cake. There will be a cake shaped piñata instead full of questionable trinkets for you to take home to commemorate this unorthodox union of souls.
Go for it but we are paying someone to do that job.
To the ceremony, yes. To the reception, ehhhh… if you haven’t been to Shantytown just know you kids have gotta be super cool with all kinds of debauchery. The bar doesn’t allow youngsters after the sun goes down though.
We have been so blessed with our own house fully furnished by my momma up in heaven. We still have some renovations to do so there is a link to donate towards making our pad more of our own.
