Deer ticks are blood-sucking parasites that live in these parts. The venue sprays the grounds to repel them, but it's standard practice to check yourself or loved ones at the end of each day (particularly if you've been romping through long grass/dry leaves etc). Unfortunately, the little buggers will give you Lyme disease if left unattended for 36-48 hours, so be wary.
