Dress code for this event is [elevated chic]. Ladies, think sundress, cocktail dress, coastal chic. Gentleman, just no shorts or jeans. Think polo shirt vibe but not necessarily a polo shirt. As far as weather, we will be inside primarily but there is a porch.
We're giving everyone a taste of a classic Rhode Island Italian restaurant! There will be an open beer & wine bar, as well as heavy hors d'ouvres. We will have light bites, and some pasta and pizza. This could be dinner for some but not all, so know yourself. Sardella's is in downtown Newport, which is walkable and full of restaurants, bars, art, shops, etc. We hope you will be able to spend time down there before or after the welcome party! Most hotels in Middletown have shuttles to downtown Newport. RIPTA buses are also easy to use [TKTK], and Ubers are readily available.
5:45 pm - 11:00 pm
Our wedding is a black-tie event. Gentleman, this means tuxedos with black bowties. Ladies, think formal floor-length gowns. The bridesmaids will be wearing yellow.
Please plan to arrive at 5:30 PM. We will have buses from [TKTK], [TKTK], and [TKTK] which will depart for the Rosecliff at 5:15 PM. The ceremony will begin at 5:45 PM. Cocktail hour and reception are also at the Rosecliff. Open bar, obviously! After the wedding, buses will take guests back to all the pickup locations if they do not wish to attend the after party (but we really hope you do because it is already paid for!!). Gentleman: for tuxedo rental, we recommend [TKTK] and [TKTK].

The after party is at a local Newport bar downtown and will be an open bar! We will also have some sandwiches and snacks. For those staying downtown, you can easily walk home. There will be a final bus departing from the after party going to the Middletown hotels at 1 AM. Please come to this! If you're wondering if you're too old to go to the after party, you're not!

This isn't a real event, but we will be at the beach the day after our wedding! Come say hi and hit the beach!
If you don't want to get all beachy before your flight, feel free to hang out on the beach in clothes! We do it all the time.
