FAQs

Question

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP before August 15.

Question

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will take place at the same location: The Villa Terrace Decorative Arts Museum - 2220 N Terrace Ave, Milwaukee, WI

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire, please! The ceremony and parts of the evening will take place outdoors (under cover if it rains), so we recommend dressing with the weather in mind. The outdoor areas are paved patios, so heels or dress shoes shouldn't be an issue.

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive between 3:15 and 3:45 PM to allow time to get seated before our 4:00 PM ceremony. Shuttle details to and from the venue can be found under the “Hotels, Shuttles, Flights” tab.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

The Villa Terrace is located in a residential neighborhood and does not have onsite parking. Limited street parking is available where posted, and the closest public lot is a 5-minute walk away: Prospect Lot – Power Parking (2009 E Kenilworth Place). We will be providing a shuttle between the Hilton Garden Inn Milwaukee Downtown and the venue, and also encourage using Uber/Lyft.

Question

Is it okay if we take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

Feel free to take pictures & video during the reception, but during the ceremony, we kindly ask for phones to be put away so we can all enjoy the moment together.

Question

What can I expect for dinner?

Answer

Dinner will be served family-style, with chicken and beef included in the menu. If you would like a vegetarian meal, or have any other dietary needs, please let us know when you RSVP.

Question

Am I able to bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to the strict capacity limits at the Villa Terrace, we regretfully can only accommodate specifically invited guests. Thank you for your understanding!

Question

Can children attend the festivities?

Answer

As much as we love the kids in our lives, the wedding will be an adults-only event. Kids are welcome to join the other weekend events, just let us know if you're planning to bring them!
