When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

We kindly ask that you RSVP by Sunday, October 1, 2023. Due to venue restrictions an RSVP is required to attend. You may RSVP via our website: HicksCrissWedding2023.com.

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

Yes, We are registered on Zola. We also appreciate any monetary gifts for our future endeavors. There is link under the registry tab and there will also be a card box for anyone wanting to give cards.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

This is an "All Black Affair"... We kindly request that our guest dress to impress in their best BLACK cocktail/ semi-formal attire. Please refrain from wearing any variation of white.

Do you have any hotel recommendations/ room blocks?

Answer

Yes! Rooms have been reserved. Please see the "Accommodations" tab here on our wedding website.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is ample parking at the venue.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to space limitations, we simply cannot afford for all of our lovely guests to bring a guest of their own. Therefore, we regretfully ask our guests to please not bring a plus one, unless they are specifically named on the invitation. You are all so special to us and we appreciate you for honoring this request.

While we adore your children, our venue simply does not have the space for all little ones.

What if I forget to RSVP?

Answer

To assist us with planning, we kindly request that you RSVP by the requested date, Sunday, October 1, 2023. We can not make exceptions and will have to mark you as declined. We have to provide our vendors with an accurate guest count in a timely manner. We hope you understand.

What if I can not attend your special day?

Answer

You will definitely be missed! If you can not attend our special day, please RSVP "No", so we can plan accordingly.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will start promptly at 5:00pm. Guest will be allowed to enter the ceremony space at 4:30pm. Guest traveling, I-20W from the Birmingham metro area should plan for an hour drive to the venue.

Is the wedding ceremony and reception taking place at the same location?

Answer

Yes, the wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be held in the same location.

Can I take pictures or video during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request an "unplugged" ceremony and ask that our guest keep personal devices put away and be present in the moment.

Do you have a wedding hashtag?

Answer

Oh yes! We would love to see you all take so many photos and videos during the cocktail hour and reception. Please use hashtag #CrissCrossmyHeart

Are masks required?

Answer

Mask are not required however, we do ask if you are not feeling well that you let us know and not attend to keep other guest safe and healthy.
