When should I RSVP by?

Where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

The ceremony will take place at Monastery Beach in Carmel, then the Cocktail Hour and Reception will follow at the Carmel Fields venue (5 minute drive away from the ceremony location: 4860 Carmel Valley Rd, Carmel-By-The-Sea, CA 93923).

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Carmel has a mild coastal climate year-round. Even in August, evenings can be cool and foggy, though we predict it will not rain. The ceremony will be outdoors on the beach, and the rest of the wedding will be indoors. Please check the weather leading up to the date!

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

The ceremony is public parking on the street bordering the beach. There have not been issues parking here in the past according to the venue. The Carmel Fields venue will have a parking lot. Please arrive 20–30 minutes before the ceremony start time to allow for parking and seating or if you want to take beach photos!

What is the dress code?

Answer

Beach formal/cocktail attire. Please keep in mind the ceremony will take place on the beach (everything else will be indoors). For example: Women: Midi or long dresses, dressy sandals, wedges, or block heels (please note the ceremony will be on sand) Men: Suit or dress pants with a button-down; tie optional

Will there be dietary accommodations?

Answer

Yes! Please note any dietary restrictions or allergies when you RSVP, and we’ll do our best to accommodate. The dinner will be served buffet style, and there will be an open bar.
