About three years ago, Jess and Noah were both working and serving within ministry. On a Sunday after church in October of 2022, Noah asked Jess if she would like to get a cup of coffee before work on that following Monday morning. Jess eagerly said yes not knowing his full intentions then, but looking back it was clear that it was much more than coffee. (Not to mention, Noah doesn’t wake up for a 6:30am coffee meet with just anyone and the fact that Jess (years later) discovered minutes before Noah approaching her that morning, was nervously vomiting…lol) Their first coffee adventure took place at Eightfold Coffee in Echo Park. They ordered two Spanish lattes (one iced and one hot.) They talked about their lives, bonded over music, the outdoors, and their love for coffee and Jesus! It is safe to say that there was an instant connection between this Oklahoma boy and this LA girl. From then on, Noah asked Jess to coffee every week before work with the intention of getting to know her more personally and not scare her away, ahah. They explored different coffee shops around Los Angeles creating more memories and fun. (It is an undying tradition they still currently uphold!) The two were undeniably falling for each other but of course Jess was blind to see how much Noah cared at the time. The soon to be married couple went on their first official date in November and became boyfriend and girlfriend in January. They have grown tremendously as they continued to chase after God’s heart and with that, not only witnessed experiences out of this world but also the strength to endure the valleys of life. From working with people in recovery, disaster relief, to organizing tournament fundraisers to take project kids to Disneyland, attending a world series, rose bowl, and spring training games, to coffee crawls and conventions, and launching our very own coffee cart; God has always had his hand over Jess and Noah and the blessings have never been taken lightly. The couple requests family and friends for their love and support as they embark into this new chapter of their lives unafraid and longing for new stories, callings, and lots of love.
