Booking Travel?

If you're traveling from the US or most of Europe, you'll lose a day to the time difference (don't worry, you'll get it back when you return). We recommend checking the arrival date before booking--this is a mistake we've made before!

Traveling From the Airport

Taking an Uber or the MRT into Taipei City is easy from Taoyuan International Airport. From Terminal 1 or 2, once you’ve exited the immigration area, just look for the sign that says “MRT”. The train will take you to Taipei Main Station, and from there you can resume your journey via the Taipei Metro train to the closest station to your destination. For those of you directly traveling from the airport to Hotel Jiantan Biotech, please transfer to the red line headed towards Tamsui. You will get off at Jiantan station, and the hotel will be a 12 minute walk. If you have any questions, let us know and we'd be happy to help you with transportation!

Getting Around in Taipei

The easiest way to travel around Taipei is via the MRT (our subway). This will take you just about anywhere in Taipei and is extremely safe and clean (looking at you NYC). Each trip will take about $20-30NT (approx. $1 USD; again, looking at you NYC) depending on distance. We've also included a link to the Taipei metro map for ease!

Traveling Around the Hotel

While we'll arrange for transportation to the wedding and reception, you may want to wander from the hotel so we've included an easy map for your reference! A few helpful stops nearby: - 7/11 & Family Mart (4 min walk) - these convenience stores are open 24/7, and carry a huge variety of treats. - Louisa Coffee (in the lobby) - is a great option for breakfast! - Jiantan MRT station (12 min walk) - this will connect you to the rest of Taipei
