First Stop. 200 years ago, the Lin family (not mine) constructed his house using feng shui to reflect to principles of prosperity and harmony. This is now one of the oldest homes to exist in Taipei (and it's also where my Facebook profile picture was taken, IYKYK).
Second Stop. The Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall is a national monument erected in memory of Chiang Kai-shek, former President of the Republic of China. It also served as the cornerstone of Jessica's middle school field trips.
Third Stop. This is the tallest building in Taiwan, and served as the world's tallest building from 2004 to 2010. The building has since become a shorthand for Taipei in international media.
Fourth Stop. This is a popular shopping district for locals, so we recommend that you bring some cash and an empty suitcase. Sights include the Underground Book Street, various clothing/beauty shops (this is where Jess buys her clothes), and a variety of stalls selling local cuisines.
5:30p Tour concludes.
