Lisa and Jessica met in an innocent modern day, dating swipe. Lisa liked Jessica's sweet disposition and her kind smile. Jessica fancied Lisa for her fun loving nature and spirit that showed through in the pictures. They started their communications over chat due to their busy schedules but after some time communicating over text, finally agreed to meet up in person. Lisa was exhausted from her recent Rugby reunion in Colorado and was tempted to cancel. She questioned whether she should go but her roommate strongly encouraged her to suck it up and get out there. I bet you're thinking that it was love at first sight, right?! Nope, not exactly. The two met at Cafe Van Kleef (Lisa's watering hole) over a carefully crafted double greyhound cocktail. They exchanged pleasantries, had a nice evening, good conversation and agreed that they would like to see each other again. Some time passed and the two made plans to hang out again but this time, Lisa wanted to test Jessica's adventurous side and love for red, white and blue. They dressed up and embarked on their first lesson in curling. Yes, you heard it right, we said curling. Lisa could tell that there may be something special about this person, but she couldn't pinpoint quite what that might be. Time passed, seasons changed and the two spent time getting to know each others likes, dislikes, interests and tickers. Lisa was in the midst of purchasing a new home and Jessica was outgrowing her lovely place in the Presidio in which she had been for the last 5 years. It seemed like the natural progression in the relationship and really, Lisa just got sick of Jessica living out of her suitcase. Lisa asked Jessica to move in with her and was eager to start making her house a home with what Lisa knew would be her forever person. Here we are now and we are so excited to spend this weekend with the people nearest to our hearts and celebrate this special weekend with us. Thank you in advance for being a part of our story.
