We met the old fashioned way, through an employee training in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in September 2018. Our first memories of one another were outside the Milwaukee airport, waiting on our ride to the hotel. Liam looked like the Unabomber with his hoodie pulled over his head and dark sunglasses on, and I looked colorful as ever in my blue patterned leggings, bright blue ray bans and French braids. We didn't talk much in the car ride to the hotel but the next morning we were lucky enough to be seated together in the same training group. Over the course of a week we got to know one another and found ourselves gravitating towards each other in group settings outside of training sessions. When I got home from the training, I knew there was something special about Liam and told my mom as much. I loved his quiet confidence, kindness and respect that he showed everyone, and not to mention, he was also very cute. Liam loved my fortitude, whit and deep blue eyes. However, it wasn't until 2 months later at a different training outside of NYC that we started seeing each other as more than friends and colleagues. I actually made the first move and asked Liam for his number while we were texting on our work phones. I claimed my work phone was about to die, "this is my personal" I said. Liam wasted no time, he immediately reached out to set up our first date. We had that first date in Boston and have been together ever since.
