You ever look back and think how every little step led you to each other? How one misstep and you would have never crossed paths? We talk about that often. We met through a mountain group on Facebook. Jessica had just finished summiting Mt. Rainier for her first time, then immediately after wanted to challenge herself and climb it in a single day. She posted in the group on Facebook looking for partners. Of the many people interested, Lance was one of them. We never did climb Rainier in a single day that time, but we did a few years later and that was special. We have shared many adventures together since then all over Washington, Canada, Mexico and even Norway! Lance proposed to Jessica in the most beautiful backpacking spot in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness. Jessica had wanted to camp at this spot for years, so it made it extra special. Theres a funny story about this trip too but will save that for another time. We are so grateful we crossed paths and so excited to start this next chapter in our lives!
