Hot Suppa
This is a southern style breakfast and lunch joint a short walk from our apartment so we often bring friends and family here when they visit. They have phenomenal chicken and waffles and there specials are always tasty and unique. They do not take reservations so plan for a 45-60 minute wait but we promise it's worth it!

Portland Lobster Company
This is the first place we ate at on our trip to Portland and may be part of the reason we moved here
Luke's Lobster Portland Pier
A bit nicer and with spectacular views, we enjoyed Luke's for the first time the night of a blizzard as they advertised free clam chowder with a lobster roll for the storm
Pizzaiolo
Received a 7.5/10 from Dave Portnoy. Our favorite pizza for a chill night.
Nosh Kitchen Bar
Favorite burgers in Portland, hands down. They also sell Shiner Bock pounders for $3.50 which is a big selling point for us.
Leeward
Great Italian, super cute. Right behind Cross Insurance Arena. Opens at 5pm. Get a reservation.
Scales
Phenomenal sea food right on the water! Highly recommend! Also the $5 clover leaf rolls are incredible and come out hot on the skillet. Definitely get a reservation for this one!

Right down the street from our first apartment in Portland, Hawaiian shaved ice with a twist! P.s. the ice cream soup at the end is the best part
Coastal Creamery
Great hard serve ice cream (they also make ice cream sandwiches with house made cookies)
Thompson's Orchards
Enjoy apple picking, apple cider donuts, apple cider, and locally crafted goods at this lovely apple orchard about half an hour from Portland
Bayside Bowl
Great spot for drinks, snacks and bowling.
Freeport, Maine
This is a cute little town about 20 minutes north of Portland and the home of LL Bean headquarters. Super fun day or afternoon trip
Casco Bay Lines
This is the ferry service that travels to all the islands around Portland. Check it out if you want to get a taste of Maine Island life.
