Question

Is there transportation?

Answer

Yes! The day of the wedding we will have a shuttle all the way through to the after party. Our bus company is very accommodating and will make stops at rental homes if necessary, so we will be reaching out to get a list of locations to make a pickup schedule. Our ceremony starts at 5pm sharp, so expect bus shuttles to begin running around 4:15 to ensure we get everyone in time.

When and how should I RSVP?

Answer

We will be collecting RSVPs, for all events, right here on the wedding website. RSVP date will be communicated on the formal invites, most likely August 12th to give us ample time to reach out to all guests and ensure everyone has found accommodations and we can have transportation available for them.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

For all of those that live in New England, we know that October can bring lots of different weather. As you read this, please knock on wood that we get a perfect and sunny fall weekend. We ask that everyone plan for temperatures in the 50s to low 60s and pack appropriately!

On that same note, what is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

We can't wait to see all of our favorite people dressed up! Dress to impress in your best formal attire. If you tend to get chilly and want to be safe, we recommend bringing a light jacket or shawl for the ceremony and cocktail hour that will be held outside. Note for the ladies - our ceremony and cocktail hour will be out in the formal gardens. Be mindful of footwear as parts of the ceremony will be on a lawn. I (Jess) will personally be opting for block heels.

Are kids coming to the wedding?

Answer

We want to be able to see everyone, parents included, let their hair down for the night! For that reason, we will be hosting an adults-only affair. We would love to see the kids at welcome drinks and brunch though! However, we have many of our friends and family bringing their young ones up to Vermont to partake in the rest of the wedding weekend. Some are bringing additional family with them to babysit and enjoy the weekend in Vermont and some are hiring local sitters. If you have any questions or need help finding recommended sitters in the Manchester area, please reach out to us!

Is there parking if I would like to drive?

Answer

Yes. If you would like to get yourself to the venue instead of taking the bus, you are able to park in the large lot next to the visitor center. This is just a short walk up to the main house and gardens for the ceremony.

Will there be any vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, or special diet options?

Answer

Our caterers are the absolute best and will be able to accommodate any dietary restrictions you have. There will be a vegetarian entree available for dinner, however, it is always best to let us know sooner rather than later if you have any additional needs so we can communicate ahead of time and ensure the best meal possible for you!
