In June, Missoula experiences a transition from spring to summer weather. Expect generally mild temperatures with highs in the 70s and 80s, and lows potentially dropping into the 30s and 40s. There is always a chance of an afternoon rain/thunderstorm. This is Montana and we are in the mountains. Missoula is at 3200' above sea level. It can rain, snow, and be sunny all in one afternoon. Bring layers. A rain coat, a warm coat for evenings and mornings and shorts for the warmest days.
Thats truly up to you. We would recommend airbnb's because we enjoy having the ability to cook but thats our preference. There are many hotels, airbnb's, VRBO's options. we suggest staying in the greater Missoula area. Hotels: Double tree by Hilton. It has a beautiful little bar/restaurant right on the river and close to downtown City center motel, the owner supports local bike racing The Wren Hotel, Downtown in the heart of Missoula
Yes. We want all our friends and their entire families to join us!
Yes and no. If you are staying downtown its possible to take a rideshare from the airport to Hotel/rental. With that said ...The Wedding venue is about a 45 minute drive from downtown Missoula. There are the traditional car rental companies at the airport and also Turo ( the airbnb of cars). If you want to go for hikes, explore or even try and see glacier national park you will need transportation to get there. Check in with the Bride and Groom with any specific questions.. happy to help.
The actual wedding venue is a 45 miles (45-65 minute) drive south of Missoula in the Heart of the Bitterroot Valley. Please allow time for travel as Friday afternoon's have very heavy traffic that time of year. *Actual address and location available once you RSVP
Yes! Weather permitting. (we have an inside option but thats only if a hurricane comes though). The ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner will all be outside. Thin pointy heals not recommended.
What kind of riding do you wanna do?!?! Probably bring your MTB or gravel bike. Roadies welcome too but unless your used to no shoulder and trucks buzzing you its not a super ideal place for road riding. ( happy to send you route no matter what bike you bring) Check MTCX for rentals. If they can’t help you, try spotted dog cycles or Missoula Bike Works. If you’re similar size to the bride and groom, they might have one you can borrow.
Cocktail attire suggested but anything that looks like you care.
Call/ Text/ email us! We want to be here to help answer any question you might have about coming to visit for the wedding. Please don't hesitate to Call/ text if any questions come up. Seriously.. Up until wedding week we would love to help. Jess: 406-899-2624 Natxo: 530-574-3349
