FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Due to the layout of the church, it's imperative that all guests please be seated no later than 3:15 p.m.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail or semi-formal attire is requested—think dressed up but comfortable. Suits, dress shirts with ties, cocktail or midi dresses, and dressy skirts and blouses are all great options. We kindly ask that you skip jeans, shorts, flip-flops, and other super casual wear so we can keep the vibe festive and special.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will take place indoors.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

October in Western Maryland can be a little unpredictable, but it’s usually mild during the day and cooler in the evening. Both the ceremony and reception will be held indoors, so you’ll be comfortable inside—but a light layer might come in handy if you plan to step outside.

Question

Is there parking available at the wedding venue?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will be held at our church on Main Street in Frostburg. Street parking is available, and we’ve requested that the city reserve spaces along the block for our guests. The reception will take place at the Ali Ghan Shrine Club in Cumberland. There are two parking lots on-site with ample parking available. Both venues are fully accessible to ensure all of our guests can join us comfortably.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we are only able to accommodate children who are part of the wedding party. We appreciate your understanding and hope you enjoy a fun evening out with us.

Question

What type of food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?

Answer

We’ll be serving light hors d’oeuvres during cocktail hour, followed by a full dinner buffet and dessert to keep the celebration going. Come hungry and ready to enjoy!

Question

I have dietary restrictions/allergies. What's the best way to let you know?

Answer

Please call or text Jessica at (240) 727-2528 to share any dietary restrictions so we can coordinate with our caterer and make sure everyone is well taken care of.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! An open bar will be available, featuring beer, wine, and two signature cocktails specially chosen by the bride and groom. Any additional spirits or drinks can be purchased at the bar.

Question

Have you booked hotel room blocks for guests?

Answer

Yes, we’ve reserved room blocks at two local hotels for your convenience. You can find all the hotel details on the "Travel" page of this website. We recommend booking early, if possible.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate with you! We’ve decided to have an unplugged ceremony, which means we kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos or videos during the ceremony itself and simply be present with us in the moment. We promise to share the professional photos afterward! Once we move on to the reception, you’re more than welcome to take and post pictures—just please be mindful not to step in front of or interfere with our photographer. Thank you so much for understanding and helping us make the day extra special!

Question

What's the best way to RSVP?

Answer

You may RSVP directly on our wedding website, or by using the card included with your invitation.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 24, 2026. This will help us finalize our schedule and plan with vendors.

Question

I'm visiting from out of town. What can I do while I'm in Western Maryland?

Answer

Western Maryland is our favorite place and there are so many fun things to do! You can find some of our recommendations in the “Things To Do” section of our website.

Question

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is truly the best gift we could ask for. For those who have expressed interest in giving, we've created a small registry of items for or home, along with a cash fund to support our future together. Both of these can be found on our "Registry" page. If you prefer another option, you're also welcome to contribute via Venmo at @ladyjessica68. We appreciate your generosity and kindness so much!

Question

Can I bring my gift to the wedding?

Answer

Your presence is gift enough, but should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a gift table for your convenience.
