We kindly request that guests dress in formal attire for our wedding ceremony and reception. Floor- or mid-length dresses, dressy cocktail dresses, and suits with ties are appropriate.
We’re keeping our celebration mostly adults-only. We’ll be including children from our families, but otherwise we kindly ask that you enjoy a night out just the two of you. Thank you for understanding!
We highly recommend staying a the Downtown Greensboro Marriott, as Ubers do not pick up from the venue, and the shuttle designated to take guests to/from the wedding venue will be picking up from and dropping off at this hotel. In addition, it's located in downtown Greensboro and only a short walk or drive from many local bars and restaurants. If you would prefer to stay in another hotel, we also recommend the Hyatt Place Downtown Greensboro, the Proximity Hotel, and the O.Henry Hotel. There are also various rental options on Airbnb and Vrbo. We recommend staying in/around downtown Greensboro, NC if you would prefer to be closer to the city or in/around Pleasant Garden, NC if you would prefer to be closer to the wedding venue.
There will be a shuttle available to take you to and from the wedding venue. It will pick guests up to take them to the wedding venue from the Downtown Greensboro Marriott at 4:00 PM and it will make 3 trips to bring guests back to the Downtown Greensboro Marriott from the wedding venue (8:30 PM, 9:30 PM, and 10:30 PM). During the last trip back to the hotel after the reception, the shuttle will make a stop at Boxcar Bar + Arcade for guests that would like to attend the after party. Please note, you will not be able to take an Uber or Lyft back to your hotel (or home) from the wedding venue, even if it is a ride scheduled ahead of time. If you're not planning on driving (or carpooling with a driver) back to your hotel after the reception, you'll need to use the shuttle, schedule a taxi, or schedule a private car service to get back to your hotel.
If you are taking the shuttle to the wedding venue, please be at the Downtown Greensboro Marriott no later than 4:00 PM to depart for the ceremony. The shuttle will only be making the one pickup at 4:00 PM to take guests to the ceremony, so please be on time! If you are not taking the shuttle to the ceremony, please aim to arrive between 4:30 PM and 4:45 PM.
Yes! Our wedding venue has a designated parking lot that can accommodate up to 100 cars, including accessible parking spaces.
Technically, yes. But you have to get your car by 9:00 AM the next morning, or the venue reserves the right to tow.
Yes! Please include any food allergies or dietary restrictions on your RSVP.
The reception will officially end at 10:30 PM. However, there will be shuttles available to take guests back to the Downtown Greensboro Marriott at 8:30 PM and 9:30 PM as well.
We’ve reserved seats just for those named on each invitation. If your invitation is addressed to two people, you are welcome to bring a guest!
