Shallom! Embarrassingly enough I have been planning my future wedding since elementary school. The day is finally here and I am so excited to marry my best friend! A few things about me: I was born in sunny South Florida but spent most of my life in Maryland. I am a mother to my beautiful son, a pediatric nurse, a student, (currently in school to achieve my doctorate degree) and I’d like to say I’m an athlete (I love to stay active and compete in races). I am stubborn, competitive, and love a good debate. I am spontaneous, driven, and sassy at times. My family and friends are more important to me than anything in this world. I cannot wait to eat some amazing food, drink incredible cocktails, and dance the night away 11/5!

Hello everyone and thanks for visiting our wedding website! I’m Darius as you all should know by now. I am extremely excited to get married and start this journey together with my incredible fiancé Jessica. I am a father to our incredible son Elijah who just steals the show. I was born in Massachusetts but after jumping from Mass to PA to WV to finally landing in MD in 2nd grade where I remained until just last year where I was lucky enough to move to Fort Lauderdale Florida with Jess. I love nature and enjoy what life has to offer. Along the way I’ve met so many of you great and amazing friends and family. Luckily of all I met the love of my life. Jessica has been my adventure buddy, workout partner, bff, therapist, and sister for the last 12 years. We met at cross country practice and have been active ever since! Whether it be workouts, hikes, or bar hopping to different speakeasy’s around DC spontaneous adventures are definitely our thing. I am so excited for her to embark on new adventures with Darius, and be a part of their special day!

Hey yall, i Go by Remy, Remz, Remy Baby, or all of the above - I met my brother in 3rd grade at Eastern Elementary in Hagerstown, MD. The world has been trying to separate us ever since. First it was the battles we faced in Halo to the battles of Thirteen. As you see we’re still holding strong but Jess has been the hardest obstacle we have faced. - I met Jess at the glorious residence of Cleveland Ave through a good friend. - Favorite hobbies: is sports, picking up and putting down heavy objects, Traveling, and enjoying the presence of Amazing people. - Interesting fact: i witness the exact moment when Darius and Jess Began their Journey of Love. We initially bonded over things we had in common like our obsession with makeup at the time, our close knit families and our natural hair journey’s. It wasn’t until we became roommates that I noticed our personalities couldn’t be more different! Jess is a very energetic, confident & strong willed person whose shown me the beauty in surrounding yourself with people who possess qualities you lack yourself. Over the years of knowing each other we’ve traveled together, gone on impulsive adventures, and matured into amazing mothers. I like all things fashion and home decor! I’ve also found a new love for party planning and hosting after knocking my daughters first birthday out of the park! I am a DMV native but also feel a sense of home in Baltimore. Where our paths crossed on the football field for the Hagerstown Steelers. Many moons Ago! - I met Jess through Cleveland right after I graduated from College. She fit in with the crew like she was an original! - Although I missed the beginning of their relationship due to being in the Marine Corps. I was able to watch their love flourish from a far. All it took was to see them together in person one time together And I knew it was meant to be. - I Recently have Honorably discharged from the Marine Corps and I currently live at the beach Here at Emerald Isle NC. Where my wife and I raise our son Bodhi and soon to be little one in October. - I love surfing, Sports, and Rooting Against the Eagles. - Can't wait to celebrate with my best buds, friends, and family!! They say that cousins are the first friends we ever have. Some of my favorite childhood memories, if not all, are accompanied with Jessi by my side! Even after moving away from our home in South Florida, she still managed to be my “go to” person for all things fun and adventurous. From running obstacle course races together to jumping out of airplanes, I could always count on her to join me for the thrill. When I’m not seeking an adrenaline rush, I’m either coaching fitness classes or studying for Physical Therapy School. I’m so excited to be a part of this wedding and celebrate this special couple! We sat next to each other and I asked “Do you even know what’s going on right now?” That’s when we laughed out loud and the rest was history. I enjoy reading novels that make me cry and binging tv shows in a day. Interesting fact is that Jess and I both moved from city lives to town life and fell in love with two best friends! Jess and I met freshman year of Towson in 2019 we happen to be suitemates who only saw each occasionally till we figured out we had one thing in common, we were nursing majors. As nursing majors in undergrad, there was one thing we all had in common, we were all struggling together and through that struggle we found time to discover each other‘s passions and interests and before we knew it we were going on a road trips, summer travels and having sleepovers at each other’s homes. It’s safe to say meeting each other was no coincidence.
