Chris and I met shortly after I moved to Arkansas. At the time, I wasn’t looking for a relationship or anything serious. I had just started working for a company called Express Employment Professionals, and he happened to be a vendor for our office. I’d see him coming and going here and there, but we never really paid much attention to each other at first lol One day, I was out doing sales and walked into his workplace without realizing it was his job. I started my pitch, and mid-conversation he paused and asked, “Are you Jessica from Express?” The second I realized who he was, I got a little embarrassed and said, “Oops sorry, our services definitely aren’t needed here!” and quickly headed out. He tried to stop me, but I kept going. And went on about my day! Within minutes, he found me on facebook and sent me a message, then we started talking little by little. He asked me out a few times, but it took about three months before I finally said yes. From that point on, we’ve been doing life together every single day, going on four years now. Not long after we met, we welcomed McKenna into our lives, and we’ve grown so much together since then. Now, that journey has led us here ready to say “I do” and continue building our life and family side by side. 💛 It hasn't been easy, but its the best YES ive made in a long time.
