Question

When can I book my trip?

Answer

If you book your room directly through the resort you can book at any time! If you are booking with our travel agent and would like a package with room and flight you can book as soon as February 11, 2022.

Is the resort adult only?

Answer

Secrets is an adult only resort. There is a sister resort called Dreams located on the same property that allows children, however you cannot come to the adult side with kids, which means kids will not be able to attend the wedding.

Is the resort all inclusive?

Answer

YES! This is the best all inclusive resort I have ever been to. The drinks and the food are so so good and there are many restaurant options throughout the property.

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

Don't worry, this is not a black tie event! However we do request semi-formal beach attire to be worn. Men can wear shorts with a nice shirt. Women can wear dresses or skirts. Please no jeans! Shoes are optional for the ceremony but you will likely want them for the reception:)

What kind of activities are there to do outside of the resort?

Answer

During our visits we didn't do a whole lot outside of the resort but that doesn't mean you can't! Downtown Puerto Vallarta is beautiful and has lots of fun shops and restaurants! There are a number of excursions you can book as well. January is the migrating season for humpback whales which you can see right from our resort, but there are actual boat tours you can book to go out on the water and see them up close!

What is the 411 on room options?

Answer

We have always stayed in what the resort refers to as the Preferred Tower. It costs a little bit more, but the preferred tower makes the check in process so easy, it has a private lounge/bar, and every room has a private jacuzzi on the balcony. All of the rooms throughout the resort are beautiful, but I highly recommend a room with an ocean view.

Where are the best places to eat at the resort?

Answer

The resort is home to many different restaurants. There is a classic buffet that we typically eat breakfast at each morning. For dinner we try to hit them all while we are there. They have a seafood cuisine called Oceana. There is also a French cuisine, Italian, Mexican, and Japanese. We have not had a meal that we didn't enjoy at Secrets.
