We have been blessed with so many amazing family and friends, and your presence at our special day is the best gift of all! If you feel inclined, our registry has a variety of options. Visiting the beauty of our country's national parks is our all time favorite activity! We got engaged in Capitol Reef NP in Utah, and hope to bring Nico on his first camping adventure very soon. Global Glimpse
A nonprofit organization that partners with a diversity of high schools to provide a powerful travel experience focused on service learning, cultural immersion, and leadership development. Jessica went to the Dominican Republic in 2015 and Amy traveled to Ecuador in 2018. What we love most is that this program is accessible: they provide students from underrepresented backgrounds with the opportunity to experience more of the world and connect with other young people from different neighborhoods and backgrounds.
La Clínica del Pueblo
Jessica worked as a volunteer here from 2004-2005 with Lutheran Volunteer Corp. It is a non-profit clinic that serves the Latino population of the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area that provides services through medical services, mental health and substance abuse counseling, language access services, and community health action programs.
